Obituary for Carolyn Andretta
Carolyn L. Andretta of Southbury, CT, recently of Patterson, NY, passed away in Danbury, CT Wednesday November 2, 2022, at the age of 72.
Lynn was born April 11, 1950, in St. Louis, MO daughter of Frances (Walters) Whelan of Prineville, OR and the late Ottice Tidwell. Stepdaughter to Mary Tidwell of Reading, PA and the late Robert Whelan.
Lynn had lived in Patterson, NY for over 45 years recently moving to Southbury. She had worked as a Database Specialist at Guidepost in Carmel, NY over 20 years, retiring in 2012. She was a volunteer EMT and member of Patterson Fire Dept., member of the Patterson Planning Board and volunteer for the Board of Elections.
Besides her mother and stepmother, Lynn is survived by her sons Michael Andretta and his wife Danielle of Rock Tavern, NY, Nicholas Andretta and his wife Kara of Buffalo, NY; daughters Lisa Andretta of Beacon, NY, Dina Andretta of Dover, NH; sisters Lee Nordmark of Pineville, OR, Jana Wanser of Reading, PA brother Jay Tidwell of Hagerstown, MD; and grandchildren Timothy, Ian, Autumn, Antonio, Peyton, Emerson and Alex.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday November 9, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service beginning at 7:00 pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY. Interment will be private.
In Lieu of flower contributions in Lynn’s memory may be made to the National Audubon Society.
