Obituary for Ida B. Finney (Booth)
Ida B. Finney, 91, of Carmel, NY passed on Sunday January 16th 2022 at home, surrounded by her family,
after a long illness.
Born on December 28, 1930 to William and Hester (Head) Booth in Carmel, NY, Ida was a lifelong resident of the town.
She was predeceased by her husband Ernest R Finney Sr., son Alonzo Charles Finney, daughter Ida Alice Shortal, two stepsons Ernest R Finney Jr. and Raymond Finney.
She is survived by a stepdaughter Mary Finney Hyatt, three daughters Marion (Sissy) Brannan (John), Virginia Williams (Ernie), Dixie Kessler (Ed) two sons Henry Finney and Fred Finney. She is also survived by two sisters Dorothy Finney, Hester Bishop and a brother Robert Miller (Debbie).
She had 25 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 28 great great grandchildren. She also had several nieces & nephews which included great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces & great -great nephews. She loved spending time with her family, shopping and watching hallmark movies.
She will always be loved and missed dearly.
